AutoNation Western Region Office

The Human Resources Recruiter will provide multi-channel recruiting support (advertising, pre-screening, candidate referral, sourcing, and job posting) for all assigned dealership locations under the Western Region. The Recruiter will also be responsible for implementing local recruiting strategies, programs, and overall recruitment image which will generate candidates to meet the needs of the assigned local market.

Job Responsibilities:

o Works closely with HR Managers and Customer Care Directors to meet hiring needs and ensure that hiring is consistent with the business goals.
o Increases candidate flow and implement strategic solutions that will attract and acquire high quality candidates.
o Evaluates candidate backgrounds to match core competencies with key hiring requirements and assess motivational fit.
o Implements strategies and delivers results using various sourcing methods including direct sourcing, Internet recruiting, social media, networking, employee referrals, job fairs, etc.
o Integrate diversity into the staffing process.
o Builds strong working relationships with key internal business partners to ensure the ability to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process.
o Responsible for full-cycle recruiting, tracking, posting advertisements, sourcing, interviewing, screening and presenting potential candidates to hiring managers and following up with candidates and hiring managers.
o Conduct employment and reference checking as well as various misc. recruiting activities.

Qualifications:
o Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently
o Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience
o Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
o Experience with recruiting activity/tracking management tools
o Previous experience recruiting Automotive Industry professionals desirable
o Agency and/or retail recruiting experience highly desirable
o Excellent phone skills
o Excellent follow-up skills
o Comprehensive knowledge of HR and EEOC policies.
o Proven expertise in MS Office suite (Excel, Access, Power-Point, Word and Office)

 

Required Education:
o H.S. Diploma
o Bachelor’s degree preferred
