Job Summary:
The Collision Repair Estimator is responsible for providing customers with automotive repair estimates and relating this information to the Collision Technician so that the unit can be repaired in a timely fashion.


Job Responsibilities:
o Prepare all damage reports in an accurate and efficient manner
o Obtain all signatures, work authorizations and powers of attorney
o Negotiate an agreed price on every job prior to processing the job
o Review all final bills and supplemental billings prior to delivery of the vehicle
o Review the completed vehicle to check quality and thoroughness
o Greet each customer in the process of getting a vehicle repaired
o Make every effort to satisfy the customer's needs in regards to their automotive repair
o Assertively inform the customer that we feel we are the best choice for them to have their car repaired
o Make every effort to make a customer or potential customer feel comfortable and welcome during the sales and estimate process or whenever visiting the shop
o Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
o Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
Required Experience
Qualifications:
o Must meet company's requirements for employment
o Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
o Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles
o Must have a valid driver's license
o I-CAR Certification (preferred)
o ASE certification (preferred)




Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
o Ability to operate an automobile
o Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for prolonged periods
o Ability to work in various working conditions both indoors and outdoors, including but not limited to extreme heat and/or cold, and rain
o Ability to kneel, bend, and/or reach above the shoulders
Required Education
o High School Diploma or equivalent
o College Degree Preferred
